WFMW - Double Duty Conditioner

In an effort to be frugal (sort of!), I am trying to find double duty uses for things around the house. Last week I discovered this tip from Real Simple Magazine:

In the shower, after you've conditioned your hair, grab a bit more conditioner to use for shaving. Not only does it give you a smooth surface for removing all that unwanted hair without irritation, it moisturizes your skin bee-you-ti-fully. And, in my opinion anyway, it works much better than shaving cream.

For more frugal tips, visit the funkily redesigned Rocks In My Dryer.

I've been doing this for years and love it! It really does work better and leaves your legs oh-so smooth. Such an awesome tip.

great tip. My mil told me about this and it works so well! (You can save money by using the cheapy conditioner on your legs.)

This is a great tip and really works! I buy the cheapy suave coconut conditioner just for shaving our legs. With 4 women in the house, expensive conditioner goes too quickly!

I have heard of using it before, but I keep forgetting. Thank you for sharing! :D

Happy WFMW!
