We have a silly, but sweet, little game we like to play in my house.
It's called The Love War.
You may be familiar with the first part of it - your child tells you they love you, you tell them you love them more. In my house we keep it going to "I love you the most!" "I love you the MOSTEST!" "I love you with all my heart!"
But that's not where it stops. Oh, no! My sweet, ever competitive middle child, Hannah, loves to go even further. After I have told her I love her with all my heart, she responds with "I love you never-ending never-ending never-ending never-ending plus a million plus never-ending...."
You get the idea. Sometimes she goes on like this for a full minute! And then I tell her she wins.

Just finished reading your complete article at (in)courage. This is so beautiful. Thanks for the reminder. There are many ways that God tells me he loves me "never-ending", but one in particular is that whenever I look at the clock and the numbers read "10:10", or "3:33" or any of all the same number, God tells me He loves me. It never fails to catch me off guard. I can't "try" to look at the clock at that time. It doesn't work. Only when I "happen" to glance at my watch or another clock - it almost knocks me over - and I smile, knowing that He got me again! *;)
Oh, my! Such a beautiful post! Thanks for sharing this.
Are you no longer on twitter? I tried following you via the link on incourage and it says you don't exist--not literally of course. haha.
I just finished reading this at Incourage. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts. My heart was so blessed by it. :-)
